Port Isaac
Home to the very popular TV series’ Doc Martin and Poldark, a very charming picturesque fishing village.
Padstow
A charming fishing port with quaint narrow streets. You will be spoilt for choice with quality dining and local craft and gift shops. 12 miles away by car.
Walking
To Egloshayle
The bridle way/footpath is a lovely walk to Egloshayle, walk down the footpath away from Rocksea Mill cottage past Muttons cottage on your left, walk through the gate on the footpath and continue.

St Mabyn to Pencarrow
The walk begins from St Mabyn which is a approx. a mile from Bluebell to the Church,
Walk down the bridle way/footpath from Bluebell towards Dinhams bridge, up the hill, Station road( the roads are steep and can be busy at times) passing the church and crossing fields to reach Trescowe Farm them follow a track to Pencarrow before following winding lanes and fields back to St Mabyn.
Cycling
The camel trail is an 18 mile, surfaced and virtually level trail along a disused railway between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow, with scenery of the Cornish countryside.
Cycle hire is available in Wadebridge.
Beaches
Daymer Bay (8.4 miles)
A beautiful beach with long stretches of golden sand at low tide from Daymer Bay to rock, bordered by sand dunes with views over the camel estuary.
Polzeath (9.3 miles)
A Beautiful blue flag sandy beach with ideal conditions for surfing or learning to surf. Parking is directly on the beach.
Rock (7.7 miles)
A fairly sheltered long stretch of sandy beach following the estuary towards the coast backed by sand dunes. A ferry operates between Rock and Padstow.
Surfing/body boarding
There are many great beaches for surfing and body boarding, Polzeath is local and a fantastic beach for both of these activities.
